Yesterday Daddy took Robbie to go get skates, hockey gloves, elbow pads and helmet. He's enrolled in skating lessons starting November!! We want to get him into one more class, I'm trying to decide what he'd like more: dance or taekwondo.
Back when Daddy was signing Robbie up for classes, Robbie and I went into the arenas to check out what it's all about. He was SO excited. The little guys were having races, blacks against whites. They lined up behind the red line and then the whistle would blow and these kids would B-line it to the other end. Robbie was getting all excited, he kept jumping up and down and screaming "go... go....GO!"
I took the kids for a walk last night and Robbie asked if he could wear his "hockey elbow pads and hockey gloves". So off we went, in 27 degree weather, with my son wearing hockey gloves and elbow pads. The cool thing was he got distracted while he was running and he tripped over his feet but he put his hands out and braced the fall with his gloves!
Every time he sees his hockey equipment he asks if he's going to play hockey... November isn't going to come fast enough!

The next Sidney Crosbie in an Eskimos (or Oilers) jersey. Well its better than subjecting the little guy to a Maple Leafs sweater - just!!
Robbie was lovin' it. He was having trouble standing - just like Hemskey, but Robbie will improve.
