Introducing our newest family member:

"Baby Fish"

I had suggested getting a fish for Robbie a while back but that was quickly vetoed by Colin. A couple of weeks ago we went for dinner to celebrate Nana's 75th birthday. This restaurant had an enormous fish tank with a bunch of gold fish and other larger fish, Robbie was in heaven! He kept calling them: Nemo, Nemo Daddy, Baby Nemo, etc. As soon as Nan saw Robbie's face light up while watching all those fish she was begging Colin to let her get him a fish. After a little discussion he agreed! We suggested naming the fish Nemo or Dori but "baby fish" seems to have stuck. I think he sees Nemo as an orange fish and Dori as a big blue fish and this little guy is neither, so "baby fish" it is!!

This little guy is a Siamese fighting fish. He's a loner and prefers it this way, he'll attack another fish if he comes in contact with it. We feed him every other day and it's just a pinch worth of food. Tank cleaning is so easy, very little maintenance required.

On to more Robbie updates... He's been VERY high energy these past couple of days. He seems to yell when he talks and is always bouncing off the walls. I think we're going to have to tone down the wrestling we do with him, he's acted out a couple of time (while playing) and hit me. When we say it's not nice he acknowledges it and apologizes. He blew me out of the water tonight with his appetite: two helpings of chili, banana, orange, yogurt AND animal crackers! Growth spurt?

We got a memory card game where you have to flip over cards and try to find pairs. At first he had a hard time waiting for the cards to get set up and he wanted to go into destructive mode but he's learning more patience and understands the concept of the game now!

Here's Robbie sharing all his Mickey Mouse figurines with Lana. As you can see in the next picture, Robbie decided that Lana looked best with Pluto (or Rudolph as he calls him)on her belly.
